Located just a few miles north of Cinque Terre on the west coast of Italy, Camogli is a quiet, unassuming fishing village by the sea. The atmosphere here is intimate, laid-back, and not at all overrun with tourists. It has small shops selling fresh pesto, focaccia, and Italian wine, fishing boats in the harbor frying their catch-of-the-day, ferries departing every twenty minutes for neighboring towns and swimming holes, and trains regularly passing through for day trips anywhere up and down the Italian coast. Come here for a few days, and you’ll never want to leave.
